Remember, this week we are planning on meeting at 5:30 at Venetian Gardens in Leesburg,
Fl.
Jo Anne is going to stop by the park on Wednesday evening and assess the blind mosquito
situation. She will send out an email on Wednesday evening letting us know if we are meeting
at Faith Lutheran or Venetian Gardens.

The theme for our April 15th meeting (starts at 6:30!) is NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY and we
have a special evening planned for all.
We will begin at 6:30 as usual with some brief announcements, followed by refreshments.
We will then do the photo critique session, admiring our efforts at night photography (or
whatever else).
After that, Kathy Waters will lead a group discussion and give us her own tips on effective
photography at night and in low-light conditions. If you have any expertise in that area,
please be ready to chime in – we want this to be a real sharing session with lots of
participation. She will be bringing some of her own recent images to share with us, including
a series of moon shots.
We’ll plan to finish by 8:30 p.m. at the latest. Then we will invite everyone to go over to the
Lake County Fair, where we will try out our skills photographing the midway at night (and
maybe get some shots good enough to enter next year). Admission is $7 but you get a $1
discount if you bring in a can of food and is open until 10pm (and we’ll have extras at the
meeting to share if you didn’t get the memo).
Important note: BRING YOUR “BABY” TO THE MEETING (little Nikon, Canon, whatever,
ready to “play”) and $6 for the optional “field trip” at the end of the meeting.
